Surf Bus

‘The Great Wave of Kanagawa’ was almost a perfect fit for a Volkswagen Surf Bus project. Recreating the piece to wrap seamlessly around the vehicle, without mirroring the original, was the biggest challenge for this project.

With geometry this complex there was always going to be some problems to solve on the final wrap. Working closely with the fitters throughout the process was essential to ensure the final result was true to the concept.

The last 24 hours of the project was gruelling work to achieve the end result. Special thanks to Bry and Gemma, and everyone involved who made the project a success.
